What to pack in your hospital bag
Everything you, your partner and baby will actually need — nothing extra. · 4 min read
For you
Comfy robe, loose pajamas, nursing bras, slippers, extra-long phone charger, lip balm, toiletries, snacks and a going-home outfit that fits your 6-month-pregnant size.
For baby
Two or three onesies, a soft hat, socks, a swaddle blanket, a going-home outfit and an installed car seat (most hospitals check before you leave).
For your partner
A change of clothes, a pillow, snacks, a water bottle and something to pass the time.
Important papers
ID, insurance card, your birth plan if you have one, and hospital forms.
When to pack
Have your bag ready by week 36, so you're calm and prepared whenever baby decides it's time.
